Minis on Spring Break

From February 24 to March 17, 6- to 12-year-olds will enjoy our free and fun workshops.

Accompanied by our teams, they can discover different mountain jobs.

Please note: spots are limited! Registration is recommended. The majority of activities are free.

Mini patrol

Monday, February 26, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Meet at the patrol cabin atop Grande-Pointe. Your children will explore the equipment used by our patrollers. The presentation will be followed by a mini competition to assemble safety nets and a rescue mission for Mr. Teddy.

  • Activity meeting point:  Patrol cabin atop Grande-Pointe
  • Requirements: Clothing suitable for the temperature. The activity does not involve skiing.

During this activity, children will have the opportunity to acquire basic knowledge about professions related to snow making and grooming on the mountain. They will explore various aspects of the equipment used by professionals during their typical workday. This self-guided tour provides young participants with the chance to ask questions directly to our teams, enhancing their understanding of these exciting careers.

  • Activity meeting point: By the synoptic panel next to the summit chalet
  • Requirements: Clothing suitable for the temperature. The activity does not involve skiing.

Mini chefs

Mini chef

Thursday, March 7, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

A new addition to this year's spring break program: the mini-chef workshop. Children aged 10 to 14 will have the chance to create a cookie recipe crafted by Chef David Forbes' brigade. They will go home with a souvenir apron and the result of their efforts.

  • Activity meeting point: Employees' entrance at the back of Camp Boule restaurant
  • Requirements: All necessary equipment is provided by Camp Boule and Le Massif de Charlevoix. 
  • End of the activity: The activity may be shorter depending on the number of participants; make sure to stay nearby from 10:30 a.m. onwards.

Mini snow school - off-piste

Friday, March 1, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Monday,  March 4, 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Your little ones are eager to grasp all the essentials of Off-Piste skiing? Enroll them in a session led by an Off-Piste expert from the snow school to learn everything about it. Initially, they will discover the equipment needed for a safe Off-Piste outing. Subsequently, they will learn how to build a survival fire and use an avalanche victim detector. A great opportunity to bring out the Off-Piste champions in them.

  • Activity meeting point: Terrasse Bell by the summit chalet
  • Requirements: Ski or snowboard as they will go on the slopes.
  • End of the activity: The activity may be shorter depending on the number of participants,;make sure to stay nearby from 2:30 p.m. onwards.

Your little ones will discover the significance of our Bell Guides' work. They will inform guests about the game plan to explore the mountain and relay updates to other guides via radio. Equipped with skis, the minis will head to the mountain base to ensure smooth lift operations. They will play a vital role in facilitating mountain operations.
