Come ride with Mark Matthews

Le Massif de Charlevoix invites the mountain biking community to a one-of-a-kind experience on Saturday, July 12, with special guest professional freerider Mark Matthews. Held in collaboration with Québec vélo de montagne, this exclusive day offers intermediate and advanced riders the chance to meet and ride alongside the renowned Canadian athlete on some of the mountain’s most iconic trails.

Mark Matthews will be joined by the Marin Bikes team, giving participants the opportunity to test ride some of their bikes on-site and to win prizes at the end of the day.

Two routes for different skill levels
The day kicks off at the La Chouenneuse learning zone, located at the summit. Attendees can watch the athlete in action and receive tips before heading out on one of two guided ride groups, based on their skill level:

• 10:00 a.m. – Intermediate route: a 7.5 km descent from summit to base. Explore the route.

• 1:00 p.m. – Expert route: a 14 km loop combining climbs and descents, including the most technical segments on the mountain. Explore the expert route.

Limited spots available for an exceptional day
To ensure a safe and smooth experience, the number of participants is limited for each departure. A valid day ticket is required to take part in the event, and advance online purchase is strongly recommended. The event rolls out rain or shine.
