2025 Mountain biking season kick-off

A premier four-season destination, Le Massif de Charlevoix is officially launching its mountain biking season this Saturday, June 21. From the summer solstice through October 13, outdoor enthusiasts and thrill seekers alike can enjoy an extensive trail network designed for riders of all skill levels, according to the operating schedule in effect.

A natural playground
Offering spectacular views of the St. Lawrence River, Le Massif’s trail network caters to both seasoned riders and those new to the sport. The destination features 55 km of trails, including 23 enduro-style downhill runs, two skills zones, family-friendly routes, and repurposed cross-country ski trails adapted for adventure biking, some of which lead to Lac Gauthier—with or without electric assist.

Access to the trails is available from both the base and the summit. To ensure smooth and comfortable transportation for all guests, the Massif Express gondola operates daily from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., serving all areas of the mountain. Tickets are available for purchase online.

New this season
This summer, the arrival of Camp Boule Express next to the summit lodge enhances the resort’s food & beverage offerings. This brand-new lunch counter features flavorful and casual dishes, ideal for a break between runs or a relaxing meal after a ride—all while enjoying panoramic views of the region.

Memorable experience to share
Two signature events are back this summer at Le Massif:

  • A sunrise snapshot: Photography lovers are invited to capture the first light of day from the Buton lookout, alongside a professional photographer. Departures take place on September 21 and 28 at 5:30 a.m. from the summit lodge.

  • Le Massif Souvenir: Mountain bikers can hit the trail Histoire sans fin and have their photo taken mid-ride with the St. Lawrence River as a breathtaking backdrop. Photo sessions are scheduled for July 27, August 17, August 31, September 28, and October 5, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

A summer of adventure awaits
Beyond mountain biking, the destination offers countless ways to experience the outdoors. From hiking and trail running to scenic gondola rides, local cuisine, and moments of pure relaxation in nature—there’s something for every type of adventurer.

A range of unique accommodations, located at both the base and summit just steps from the trails, allows guests to fully immerse themselves in the mountain environment. Gondola access is included with every overnight stay, and a 15% discount is available with the Book Early offer, valid until June 19.
