Come and discover the hiking trails of the Massif, with spectacular views of the St. Lawrence River. Departures at the top or at the base of the mountain. Access to the hiking trails is free.

Take advantage of the gondola to facilitate your hikes during our operations this fall, within Le  Massif en Couleurs. 

Le Massif offers dozens of km of trails between the Saint-Laurent river and mountain, for all levels of hikers. Exceptional places that will bring you a big dose of well-being.

The gondola will be in operation for the 2020 season only on the following weekends during the Massif en couleurs:

  • 19 & 20 September
  • 26 & 27 September
  • 3 & 4 October 
  • 10, 11 & 12 October  

Please note that places in the gondola car are limited and tickets must be reserved in advance. The sale will be done soon.

  • Discount of 50% of the ticket price for Les Amis du Massif, as a gift certificate to be used at Le Massif for the next season ONLY on the price of the unlimited day. To obtain this gift certificate, the customer will have to go to customer service on the day of his visit for the hike and present proof of his status. No discount will be made at a later date.

 *** This gondola ticket is valid for a single return trip on the same day. It is possible to get off the gondola at the base or at the top to enjoy the trails and take another gondola later. No pricing for one way only.



Trail on a background of stone dust, relatively flat and without major obstacle. It ends at luge refuge 1 and joins the Gabrielle-Roy-Ouest trail, from where the Liguori refuge is also accessible. Once at refuge 1, it offers a magnificent view of the Saint-Laurent river and Isle-aux-Coudres and is the ideal place to take a break or enjoy a picnic.

Narrow path with obstacles and a large drop that offers magnificent views of the St. Lawrence River and the petite Butte Ronde. Possibility of making a small loop of 1.2 km to go to the button de la Charlevoix. It joins the La Promenade trail which leads to the base of the Massif.

Departure from the summit chalet near the Maillard lift or from the base from the La Promenade trail.

Stone dust path without obstacle which leads to the viewpoint of the small butte Ronde at an altitude of 258m. Exceptional view of the St. Lawrence River and the mountain in a unique forest ecosystem. It allows you to take the Des Crêtes trail and access the summit of the Massif.

Departure from the base of the Massif, 1350 rue Principale, Petite-Rivière-Saint-François, or by the bottom of the Anguille trail (direction La Charlevoix trail). Parking at the base of the Massif chalet.
