Le Massif off-piste presented by Rossignol

Join one of the guided departures with our Rossignol ambassadors and rediscover the joys of alpine touring, a fast-growing sport. Improve your technique while having maximum fun with fellow enthusiasts who share your passion!

Group departures are scheduled at 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m.,  from the summit or the base of the mountain, according to skill level. An intermediate or advanced level is required to take part in the event.

A special discount at the boutique will be offered to the participants on selected products.

Equipment  
Alpine touring equipment is required to participate in this event. If you don’t have your own equipment, rentals are available on-site (limited quantities). Reservations are not available in advance; rentals are first-come, first-served on the day of the event. Note: snowboarders can make the ascent using snowshoes.  

Registration  

• $20 for Le Massif de Charlevoix season pass holders, including a drink voucher (draft beer, standard liquor, non-alcoholic beverage)
• $56 for non-pass holders including an alpine touring ticket for the event and a drink voucher (draft beer, standard liquor, non-alcoholic beverage).

Schedule  

• 8:30 a.m.: Participants welcome at the base, at the Rossignol flag* – group #1: advanced level
• 9:00 a.m.: Guided departure from the base – group #1: advanced level
• 9:30 a.m.: Participants welcome in the Mer et Monts room at the summit chalet – group #2: beginner and intermediate to advanced level  
• 10:00 a.m.: Guided departure from the trail access point located near the Camp-Boule Express lift base station – group #2: beginner and intermediate to advanced level
• 12:00 p.m.: Snack at the summit of Mont à Liguori, entertainment and surprises. A pair of Rossignol alpine touring skis will be awarded by raffle among the participants!
• 1:00 p.m.: Guided departure in the off-piste area up to markers post 6 and 7, followed by a second ascent to the summit of Mont à Liguori
• 3:30 p.m.: Après-ski at pub Le Grand-Duc with MGM Band (a drink voucher is included in the registration).  

* An advanced level is required to participate in the departure from the base.

Conditions

• To participate:
  • The full Massif hors-piste package must be purchase.

• Since the event is conducted in a group format, participants must remain with the Rossignol ambassadors for the full duration of the event.  
• Participants can enjoy a discount on mountain accommodation if they wish to stay during the event weekend. In case of cancellation, the accommodation's general policies will apply.
• Participants will be contacted a few days before the event by email (sent to the address used for the booking) with all the details of the day and the schedule of activities.
