Work schedule: Full time 

Salary: According to the collective agreement in effect, possibility of taking into consideration the experience acquired

Starting date: As soon as possible

Your future responsibilities

  • Plan and carry out all electrical maintenance and repairs in the resort;
  • Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot and repair industrial electrical equipment and related electrical and electronic controls (pumps, compressors, lifts);
  • Interprets electrical schematics, blueprints and electrical code specifications to determine location of industrial electrical equipment;
  • Performs preventive maintenance programs and maintains maintenance records;
  • Order materials from suppliers and maintain inventory control;
  • Perform maintenance on building ventilation system (lubrication and belt alignment);
  • Maintain, repair and replace motors and pumps for all building systems (e.g. pumps at Lake Tourville);
  • Adopt safe work practices and wear mandatory safety equipment;
  • The above mentioned duties are not restrictive; other related duties in line with this job and description or in accordance with his/her abilities, if needed, may be assigned.

Your skills and assets

  • Professional degree in electricity or electromechanics of automated systems;
  • Certificate of qualification as an industrial electrician (asset);
  • 5 years of relevant experience;
  • Work at heights/confined space certification (asset);
  • WHMIS certification (asset);
  • Knowledge of high and low power circuits;
  • A valid driver's license (asset);
  • Experience in driving snowmobiles and recreational vehicles (asset);
  • Basic knowledge of the Office Suite;
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (between 50 and 100 lbs);
  • Understanding of the terms of the field in English;
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems;
  • Thoroughness and accuracy;
  • Sense of observation and initiative;
  • Ability to adapt and work under pressure.
