Nocturnal Sledding with Catski
Discover Le Massif in one of the most exciting, unique ways. Travel via cat ski to the top of our 7.5-km-long sled trail and descend with your sled and nothing but your headlamp lighting the way. A one-of-a-kind Québec experience!
Activity Details
The descent is thrilling but not continuous. There are several stops along the way that require walking a few metres, including one halfway at a warm chalet for a well-deserved break.
- Duration: Approximately 3 hours
- Hike: 3 km snowshoe hike with a guide
- Course: 7.5 km with a few walking stops, including a cozy chalet break halfway through
- Transportation included: By snowcat (cat ski) from the welcome area to the starting point
- Snow type: Groomed natural snow trail, reserved for sledding

- Arrive 30 minutes before departure time
- Online reservation required
- Minimum age: 10 years old
- Supervision recommended for children ages 10 to 14
- Guardian’s signature required for ages 10 to 17
- Helmet required: ski or snowboard only (no hockey or bike helmets)
- Helmet rental available when purchasing your ticket
- Headlamp provided by Le Massif
- Dress warmly: evenings and nights are always colder

Arrive at the sledding welcome area 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time.
Equipment
To make sure you have a great time, remember to bring:
- Warm boots, slim toque (no pompoms), and gloves/mitts
- Warm winter outerwear
- Goggles/sunglasses
- Helmet (hockey and bicycle helmets are prohibited, only ski/snowboard helmets are allowed); if you do not own a helmet, be sure to rent one when you purchase your sledding ticket.
