Sanitary measures summer season 2021

WELCOME TO YOUR 2021 SUMMER SEASON !

 Strengthening Health Measures

The health and safety of our customers and employees is our priority. From now on, after the second warning from our employees, people with day tickets or season passes who do not respect the sanitary measures put in place at the resort will have their access withdrawn, whether for the day or for the season. The tickets or passes will not be refunded.

Contingency at the Mountain

Following closely the development of the current COVID-19 situation, we have no other choice but to control access to the mountain this summer. We will therefore prioritize our season pass holders as well as owners and tenants of lodging units at Le Massif de Charlevoix. To find out how many day tickets are available on a specific date, we invite you to visit our online store and purchase your tickets before arrival.

These measures will allow us to ensure the safety of our customers as well as maintaining the quality of the experience for all our visitors.

These exceptional measures stem from an unprecedented context and are, obviously, temporary. This season will certainly be different considering the difficult circumstances. We therefore need your cooperation and understanding so that together we can overcome this crisis and finally see better days.

MOUNTAIN GUIDE 2021

Step 1 - Before your arrival at the mountain

  • Your Massif Visa Card

This summer, new subscribers who do not yet have a Le Massif de Charlevoix card will have to pay an additional $2.50 (plus tax) to purchase the new Le Massif Visa card. This card will be valid for years to come. It is essential to keep it with you since it will be possible to reload your card directly online for your future subscriptions. This will prevent you from going through the ticket office and queuing. If you visited our mountain during the winter 2020-2021 season and have the Massif Visa card, it remains valid for the 2021 summer season. This card represents a small step for you, for us and for the environment.

The gondola will be in service on Saturdays as well as June 24th, July 1st and during the two-week construction holiday. Depending on activity, the gondola may open on Fridays and Sundays. We are also improving the lifts by adding bicycle racks.

  • Online Ticketing

Our online store system is always available to facilitate digital transactions and avoid queues at the ticket office. Planning your stay should now be done in advance from the comfort of your home. Whether it's for a season pass, a day ticket or lodging, you can perform all your transactions securely through our website. If there are remaining tickets, they will be available on the same day at the mountain ticket office.

  • Digital Shift

This year, you can keep your cash for a rainy day since the Massif de Charlevoix is going digital and now gives you the possibility of using your credit or debit card for all your transactions.

  • Mandatory Mask Wearing

Wearing a mask or face covering is mandatory in all closed areas, queues and lifts. So, please make sure that you have your mask on hand before you arrive at the mountain!

  • Symptoms of COVID-19

We urge you to stay home if you have any COVID-19 symptoms.

Step 2 - When you arrive at the mountain

The summit chalet is only accessible to users who need to collect their tickets or use the toilets. When it is cold outside, it will be possible to warm up inside the chalet for 15 minutes at time. Personal items and meals will not be accepted inside.

Step 3 - Your day at the mountain

  • 2-meter Distance

We ask you to keep a distance of 2 metres between each person, everywhere and at all times. This includes the queues for the ski lifts and the ticket office as well as in all enclosed public spaces and on the slopes. This is a habit that everyone should adopt out of respect for others. For family units, we ask you to keep a distance of 2 metres from other family units (in front, behind and on each side).

  • Hand Washing

It is mandatory to disinfect your hands when entering enclosed public spaces. Disinfectant terminals have been installed in various places and we invite you to use them regularly.

  • Space Arrangements

For the 2021 summer season, our customer service will become the ticket office. This service point is located at the entrance of the main chalet at the top of the mountain. All of our service points are fitted with plexiglass and our employees wear the necessary equipment to protect themselves and others. You may only enter the base chalet to use the toilets.

  • A Touch of Warmth

When it is cold outside, it will be possible to warm up inside the chalet for 15 minutes at time. Personal items and meals will not be accepted inside.

  • Bathroom

Toilets are always available, whether on the lower level of the summit chalet or at the base. Please remember that wearing a mask is mandatory and you must keep a distance of 2 metres.

  • Dining

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it will not be possible to eat inside the chalets. Tables are available outside and will be disinfected after each use. However, you will be able to take advantage of our food service located at the top of the mountain and available every day from 11a.m.

  • Shop, Workshop and Rental Services

Bicycles will be available to rent during the 2021 summer season. There will also be a shop as well as a workshop. More details to come.

These exceptional measures stem from an unprecedented context and are, obviously, temporary. This season will certainly be different considering the difficult circumstances. We therefore need your cooperation and understanding so that together we can overcome this crisis and finally see better days.

We thank you for your continued support, your loyalty and your love for the Massif de Charlevoix. Together, we will make the 2021 summer season a success and our resort will make an even stronger comeback in the coming seasons.
