Duties
The holder of this position participates in the processing of financial data.
Your future responsibilities
- Optimize the processing of accounting data
- Perform the accounts receivable and payable process;
- Prepare bank reconciliations;
- Prepare and make general journal entries;
- Participate in the inventory process;
- Ensure follow-up in communications with suppliers;
- Ensure various follow-ups (weekly, monthly or annually);
- Assist in ensuring the accuracy of financial data processing;
- Assist in the collection and transfer to the government of data collections from points of sale.
Support management in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
- Participate in the production of monthly financial statements;
- Participate in the analysis of the general ledger accounts;
- Maintain various accounting records (fixed assets, inventories, rentals, etc.);
- Participate in the production of monthly GST and QST tax reports;
- Participate in the preparation of annual audit files;
Participate in the verification of internal control systems
- Perform random audits on various existing control systems.
Maintain and improve customer service in the sector
- Answer questions and/or queries from employees;
- Provide employees with the necessary support (training, explanation, follow-up) concerning the operation or modifications to the various systems.
Your skills and assets
- Professional degree in accounting.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
- Mastery of the Office Suite.
- Mastery of SAP accounting software (an asset)
- French (spoken and written)
- Good organizational skills;
- Ability to analyze and solve problems;
- Attention to detail;
- Thoroughness.
