Job description
- Perform all operations required to set up and serve lunches;
- Carry out all operations needed to starting, supplying and proper functioning of stoves and other hot and cold service counters;
- Perform all operations needed for the proper functioning of the service (from taking the order to the final delivery of the ordered dish);
- Perform simple culinary preparation tasks such as reheating food, simple cooking (e.g.: eggs, toast...), cutting and preparing fruits and vegetables;
- Ensure proper rotation and preservation of food items;
- Occasionally perform clerical and cashiering duties in non-cafeteria outlets (pancake houses, barbecues, outdoor activities);
- The above duties are not restrictive; other related duties consistent with this job description or within his/her capabilities may be assigned as needed.
Your skills and assets
- High school diploma or in the process of obtaining it;
- Certification in hygiene and food safety (asset);
- Experience in the kitchen (asset);
- Beginning to intermediate level of English;
- Ability to work in a team and sense of responsibility;
- Ability to adapt and work under pressure;
- Ability to adapt and work under pressure; Attention to detail and organizational skills.
