THE TRAIN: THREE WINTER 2012 PACKAGES

From February to April 2012, the Train of Le Massif de Charlevoix is featuring a rail cruise experience across the Charlevoix’s most spectacular scenery, with a choice of three distinct rail packages: The Ski Train, the Overnight Getaway and the One-Day Getaway.

THE SKI TRAIN – A FIRST IN CANADA!

Includes: Two-way travel between Québec City and the Mountain, breakfast on morning journey, day lift ticket, gourmand après ski fare on return trip.

Rolling Stock Configuration

  • Two 1800-hp RS-18 locomotives;
  • Two power cars also serving at baggage cars;
  • Eight entirely refurbished Pullman Standard railcars, with individual kitchen facilities:
    • Six railcars each accommodating 62 passengers;
    • Two cab cars adapted for persons with reduced mobility, each with a 60-person capacity.

Flanked by the seaway deep in the heart of a World Biosphere Reserve, the Mountain is a high altar for fun and freedom.
