CLAUDE BEAUDOIN JOINS RANKS AT LE MASSIF DE CHARLEVOIX

Québec City, November 7 2011 – Groupe Le Massif is pleased to announce the appointment of Claude Beaudoin as General Manager at the Mountain. Succeeding Pierre Raymond who recently accepted a position as General Manager with Groupe Promutuel, Mr Beaudoin will be affected to his position starting December 1 2011.

As Vice-President – Marketing at Société des établissements de plein air du Québec (SÉPAQ) from 1999 until recently, Mr Beaudoin is thrilled to take on this new challenge. “It’s somewhat of a return to grass roots. Early in my career, I had the pleasure of working in the ski industry,” explains this past General Manager at Parc du Mont-Sainte-Anne (1985-1992), and member of the Board of Directors for La Société de développement du Massif (1999-2003).

With a degree in Business Administration from Université de Sherbrooke, Claude Beaudoin has over 30 years’ experience in the tourism and recreation industry. “I’m extremely motivated by this new appointment which should call upon all the expertise I’ve acquired throughout my career,” stated Beaudoin who was General Manager at Parc de la Chute-Montmorency from 1993 to 1999.
