Model RS-11M locomotives were built by Montreal Locomotive Works in 1958 and later reoutfitted by Canadian Pacific in 1989. It was acquired by Groupe Le Massif in 2009.






The mechanical and aesthetic refurbishment programmes on the locomotives that will soon provide motive power to the Train of Le Massif de Charlevoix were carried out by Genesee-Wyoming Inc. at the Sainte-Foy railway yard, and le Centre de Réalisation d’Outils Innovateurs de Saguenay.

The Pullman Standard railcars, built in 1955 and 1956, were still in service in Chicago at the time of their acquisition between 2004 and 2006 by Groupe Le Massif.






Major upgrades on one/two of the Train of Le Massif de Charlevoix’s railcar(s) are now complete. Designed by Morelli Designers and refurbished by le Centre de réalisations d’outils innovateurs inc., each railcar is equipped with a kitchen and carries either 60 or 68 passengers.
