Dominique Maltais
A local of Petite-Rivière-Saint-François, Dominique Maltais grew up with her feet in the waters of the St. Lawrence River and Le Massif in her backyard. At 11, she makes her debut here on a snowboard. Your typical wonder child, this rider has everything it takes to succeed: a stature to rival the world’s best, a good head on her shoulders, talent, determination and most of all, that certain sparkle in her eye.
In 2006 and nearly 15 years later, her dream finally comes true: she garners the bronze medal at the Torino Olympic Games, and a crystal globe at the World Cup Boardercross Finals.
The Le Massif Team, her proud sponsor, congratulates her and wishes her the best of luck for 2006-2007!
