Jean-Luc Brassard

JEAN-LUC BRASSARD & LE MASSIF… A PERFECT PAIR!

Because Le Massif never does anything quite like anywhere else, it has enhanced itself with a spokesman who is very much in tune with the ski area’s image. Captivated by the site’s beauty and its surroundings, thrilled by the firm’s philosophy, proud to collaborate in the numerous business development projects and smitten with this exceptional mountain, Jean-Luc Brassard embraces Le Massif’s image with conviction and enthusiasm.

An accomplished freestyler, Jean-Luc states that he’d only agree to play this type of role for Le Massif, and Le Massif only. "I see my role as that of an ambassador, and I’ll be on snow as often as possible to meet with skiers, join them for a run and take the time to chat," adds the one person who, now more ever, appreciates the mountain’s many qualities.

Because "everyone leaves Le Massif happy, and keen to return", Jean-Luc Brassard – a distinguished globetrotter who has sailed down many a snowy face – definitely feels that Le Massif is truly unique.

Beyond his expertise in matters of skiing, it’s his unfettered curiosity and creativity that he so wishes to put to task for the ski area. "I’ve always observed how things were designed, how they operated and taken photos of infrastructures. While traveling, I’ve come across a wide range of technologies and that enables me to bring forth ideas and suggestions towards ensuring the continuous development of the ski area, and the updating of its equipment, in a way as to be in complete harmony with the environment." Respectful of those who are linked with Le Massif’s past and grateful to them for having preserved the site and the mountain’s authentic character, Brassard feels invested with their diligence in his role as spokesman.

"I wish to convey certain messages and suggest attitudes in keeping with Le Massif’s development orientations and in relationship to ongoing efforts to preserve and spotlight the area’s heritage and environment," he states, then goes on to mention good deeds in Petite-Rivière-Saint-François and Baie-Saint-Paul.

Jean-Luc Brassard’s international star appeal will definitely influence visitors in their selection of a ski area for their favorite slide sport. But beyond any doubt, his enthusiasm and dynamic flair are so impressive that in the end, his personality is sure to win people over, establishing Le Massif as a prime destination. "I love Le Massif. People are friendly and courteous, genuine, and I enjoy working with the different teams." Because he believes skiing here is an adventure and that the mountain still hides a few secrets, Jean-Luc Brassard will undoubtedly find a way to convey his passion and reach his objectives as Le Massif’s first spokesman.
