Back to list

On its mission to preserve, study and communicate the Charlevoix’s artistic, historical and ethnological legacies while offering residents and visitors a programme that is open onto the world, le Musée de Charlevoix acquires and displays objects of significance that are representative of its regional, national, Canadian and world heritage for the purpose of study, education and appreciation.

From June 20 2011 to May 13 2012, the museum is featuring an exhibit entitled The White Ships, Princes of the St. Lawrence (Les bateaux blancs, princes du St-Laurent), focused on the great bygone era of Charlevoix vacationing and spotlighting objects of the day along with the people who revealed themselves to be the region’s true wealth.
