COSSETTE AND FAIRMONT LE MANOIR RICHELIEU IN PARTNERSHIP WITH LE MASSIF DE CHARLEVOIX

Charlevoix, January 20 2011 – Two new partners, namely Cossette and the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu, were recently selected by Le Massif de Charlevoix to take part in, within the range of their expertise, the ongoing development project and its three poles (The Farm, The Train, The Mountain).
On one level, Train touristique de Charlevoix, a subsidiary of Groupe Le Massif, recently entrusted the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu with the mandate to develop and manage an on-board rail cruise dining portfolio. More precisely, its mandate will consist in composing, producing and delivering all the dishes served aboard the train. It will also oversee on-board kitchen personnel training, so as to remain in compliance with set standards of quality. It should be mentioned that all on-board operations will be executed for the most part by Train touristique de Charlevoix’s own team.
Selected after a rigorous process extending over several weeks, the Fairmont Le Manoir Richelieu distinguished itself from other candidates by the quality of the dishes presented, and more especially, by their richness in flavours. Manoir Richelieu’s dynamic team, as well as the proximity of its 5-star and 4-green key installations in the Charlevoix, also favoured its selection as food and beverage partner.
On another level, Cossette (Quebec City) was selected as Groupe Le Massif’s agency of record (AOR) in communications and marketing. Its first mandate over the coming months is to develop and implement a marketing campaign for the Massif de Charlevoix Touring Train, whose inaugural trip is scheduled for June 2011. Cossette is also mandated to accompany Groupe Le Massif in matters of strategic planning, and address the implementation of upcoming marketing campaigns associated with The Mountain, and The Farm, its hotel complex in Baie-Saint-Paul.
