LE MASSIF PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST

The best 20 entries will be selected by a panel of judges from among those received. Photos of finalists will be exhibited at the Summit Chalet during Easter weekend.

Over this same weekend, the public will be invited to vote for their favourite. A jury which includes Le Massif’s own official professional photographer, Marc Archambault, will then select the three (3) most original and technically perfect photos!

RULES
- Your photo must be received BEFORE 3:00PM, MONDAY, MARCH 30, 2009.
- Maximum two (2) photo entries per person.
- Photos may be sent numerically, 8 X 10" jpeg format/resolution 300 dpi, to: vbriere@lemassif.com (max. 8 megabytes).
- Photos may be sent by mail, developed/ 8 X 10" format to: Le Massif, c/o Valérie Brière.

ONE WAY BAND (Classic Rock)
One Way Band has but one objective: to play in homage of those who influenced the destiny of music, created revolutions and changed the world. One Way Band remixes as closely as possible while keeping the sound very contemporary, covering CCR, The Doors, the Rolling Stones, even today’s rock bands like Green Day and Metallica. LE VENT DU NORD (trad music)
Since its inception in August 2002, Le Vent du Nord has experienced a whirlwind of success. Recipient of many prestigious awards including a Juno, the quartet is now one of the world’s most highly respected traditional Québécois bands. Audiences are charmed by their energy, and never seem to get enough of them!

RADIO CATS (Pop, Rock, Dance)
One vocalist, four musicians and tons of energy to spare! A quick flip back to the 80s and including today’s radio chart-toppers. The Cats and their passion for music are definitely contagious!  Drift away to an extremely versatile musical universe where Pop, Rock and Dance are your keepers.

THE RESPECTABLES (Pop-Rock)
Our four Respectables band members are blowing out 17 candles – to mark the number of years spent on stage together, to party hardy rock, to solid friendships that produced one of Québec’s finest rock bands of all time. If other musicians their age find themselves rather short of breath, this quartet from Québec City raises an arm and points towards the horizon. Wait! They’re pointing towards Le Massif!
