Hôtel du pôle de La Ferme to Open its Doors by Summer 2011
Last 7 October, at a project management meeting assembling close to twenty Baie-Saint-Paul and Petite-Rivière-Saint-François political and business interveners, Groupe Le Massif’s team explained the very latest developments in the advancement of the Massif de Charlevoix project, stating that hotel complex La Ferme is set to be completed by Summer 2011.
Keeping in mind that terrain preparation, civil engineer work and dynamic compaction were completed last spring and summer, onsite dynamic compaction where the train station, terroir market stalls and multifunctional venue are to be erected was momentarily suspended last summer, then started up again early October in order to be completed by mid-November. Commencement of work on the hotel begins early March 2010.
Other project elements including a multifunctional venue, terroir market stalls, touring train, rail shuttles, train stations in Baie-Saint-Paul and Petite-Rivière and a gondola to access the mountain are still scheduled for summer 2011.
